Ishbel Myerscough's Willard White featured in The Augmented Reality Art Gallery
Ishbel Myerscough's 2009 painting 'Willard White' is on view in Art of London's Augmented Reality Art Gallery, a free AR trail featuring twenty key pieces from the collections of The National Portrait Gallery, The National Gallery and The Royal Academy of Arts, as well as from Sky Arts' Portrait Artist of the Year.
The trail features insightful and entertaining audio commentaries on each painting, which includes curators from each of the galleries, as well as commentary from comedian and art lover James Acaster and Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year host Stephen Mangan.
Beginning at the National Gallery and ending at Fortnum & Mason on Piccadilly, the trail consists of twenty life-size colourful frames and plaques on walls around the area, each of which will contain QR codes and unique markers to unlock the artworks.
The free app is available to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
