Nadav Kander's Enduring Generations commission featured in Fotografia. Nuove produzioni 2020 per la collezione Roma
Group exhibition Fotografia. Nuove produzioni 2020 per la collezione Roma features approximately 130 works by artists Nadav Kander, Martin Kollar, Alex Majoli, Sarah Moon and Tommaso Protti, who in 2019 were invited by curator Francesco Zizola to take up residence in Rome, Italy, and create work that illustrates their personal take on the city.
Nadav Kander, a recognised master on the international photographic scene, uses his camera to probe the face of ancient and historical Rome as it hands its inner essence down from one generation to the next.
The exhibition follows on from a project devised as part of the Fotografia Festival Internazionale di Roma, which was established in 2003 when Rome's Cultural Development Department started a photography residency scheme. Zizola was asked to help revive the temporarily suspended scheme in 2019 in order to enrich the Museo di Roma's permanent collection.
