Please join us for the launch of Esther Teichmann's beautiful limited edition book published by Self Publish Be Happy on Saturday 10^th May, 4-6pm at Flowers Kingsland Road.

Entitled Volume V of SPBH Book Club, the publication presents a rarefied and ambiguous exploration of female pleasure. By referencing classical representations of women in the history of art, most often in the hands of and for the consumption of men, Teichmann reclaims the traditional pictorialism of femininity in a subversive and provocative manner.

The book includes a layered mix of photographs, some of which are collaged onto the book pages, and an original, hand-printed cyanotype on the front cover.

This is a limited edition of 500 numbered and signed copies, each available to purchase for just £40. Esther will be present throughout the launch painting the covers of the books, and refreshments will be provided.
