In a first for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, a daily series of hour long performances titled Hibrow Hour will stream live online from the wonderful Summerhall venue. The show will feature new drama by writers, directors and actors alongside work from established visual artists.

The films will be broadcast daily at 15:40 on the Hibrow website, on BBC Arts and in selected Odeon Cinemas. We are delighted that Peter Howson OBE is among the artists selected for inclusion in Highbrow Hour on 13^th and 14^th August, 2014. In 'Berkoff the Inimitable', Steven Berkoff will deliver an exhilarating one-man show whilst being painted simultaneously by Howson. Peter will then take centre stage in War!, an exhibition which showcases the artist's work as Britain's official war artist during the Bosnian War as well as more recent paintings.

Hibrow is a digital arts broadcast production enterprise supported by Arts Council England that commissions, produces and distributes high quality films about the arts.
