Zed Nelson produces work focusing on important and disquieting world issues. From America's deadly love affair with the gun, to the annual death toll of desperate migrants crossing the sea to Europe. These are subjects that define the age we live in, that surround and affect us. In equal measure artist, anthropologist, documentarian and provocateur, Zed Nelson interrogates our culture and our relationship to these subjects, asking us to question the contemporary world and our place within it.

Nelson will give a free artist talk on his projects with the opportunity for audience participation, discussing the visual strategies he employs as a storyteller seeking to question, inform, and reflect on challenging issues of our time. 

The event will take place at Flowers Kingsland Road on Thursday 2nd October 6-8pm.
