Amateur and professional artists, including several practitioners represented by Flowers Gallery, have submitted unique postcard sized artworks for a secret online charitable auction designed to raise valuable funds for the paediatric Rose Ward at Royal Brompton Hospital. 

The auction, run by Paddle 8, is now live online. Any interested parties can view the collection and place bids via the Paddle 8 website.

The artworks will be available to view in the flesh in a one-day exhibition at Flowers Gallery, Kingsland Road, London on Thursday 9th June 10am - 6pm. This will be followed by a special evening event 6:30 - 9:30pm, during which guests can enjoy refreshments and place final bids on the artworks using Paddle 8 ipads. RSVP to RSVP@flowersgallery.com to attend. Online bidding will close at 8:30pm that evening. The identity of all participating artists will remain secret until after the auction has closed. 

All proceeds from the event will benefit the refurbishment of the Rose Ward at the Royal Brompton Hospital, which specialises in the care of babies and children up to the age of 16 with heart and lung problems, who may need medical treatment or surgical repair.
