Julie Cockburn's Armour (2019) is included in group exhibition Photogenic: Selections from the James and Cherye Pierce Collection.

In 2020, the Pierces gifted the majority of their photography collection to NOMA. This landmark gift considerably strengthened the museum's collection, adding a range of photographs from vintage works by well-known photographers to works by leading contemporary artists.
