In support of Ukraine, Edmund Clark and Nadav Kander have donated prints to Pictures for Purpose's latest fundraising sale.

Edmund Clark: "These are the first flowers I've bought this Spring, on a book, on my kitchen table. Along with the distressing violence on my screen, Ukraine has been constantly visually present for me through the yellow and blue on its flag. This is a quiet image of ordinary objects and space, but the events in Ukraine, and the people there in a country on sunflowers, are present in everyday life and thoughts."
Nadav Kander: "My work, in order to be successful in my eyes, needs to reveal and conceal at the same time. I put humankind at the centre of any work I produce, as well as the human conditions that are universal to us. If I don't show people in the frame, their presence is felt. It feels as if my work is strung together with an invisible thread, as I revisit themes again and again with varying approaches."

All prints are available to purchase for €125 (worldwide shipping available), and proceeds go to World Central Kitchen, an organisation providing fresh meals to those forced to flee their homes, as well as those who remain in Ukraine.
