John Bunker was born in Norwich in 1968, moving to London in 1996. Bunker received his BA Degree in Art and Social Context from Dartington College of Arts, Devon in 1991. His multi-disciplinary arts practice consists of abstraction and collage, juxtaposing the pure aesthetics of abstract art with images and objects from our everyday lives. Bunker's sculptures, paintings and wall-based assemblages are materially concentrated, whilst simultaneously possessing an intricate and imaginative quality.
