Paris Photo Los Angeles is the US edition of the world's most celebrated photographic art fair. Taking place at Paramount Pictures Studios, the fair explores how artists past and present use photography and the moving image to create ground-breaking work. The New York Street Backlot, a unique replica of New York City's streets, will be dedicated to the presentation of solo shows, Young Gallery exhibitions, and bookseller projects at the fair, each exhibiting within an exclusive movie set. The event also includes a diverse cultural programme, including the special Sound & Vision series of conversations and screenings. Flowers Gallery is delighted to be exhibiting at Paris Photo LA with a solo show of work by Mona Kuhn. Acclaimed for her contemporary and intimate depictions of the nude, Kuhn's latest body of work entitled 'Acido Dorado' takes a new direction, investigating landscapes, architectural details, reflections and a single figure repeatedly obscured and dislocated.
